Jackie Becker is leaving us. That's right, she's graduated and is moving on to the "post-graduation" world! Her last day will be August 15th. Drop a line wishing her well before she leaves us!
Jackie was actually the first person I hired when I came to UWSP two years ago. She started at the University Store as a cashier, and I hired her as the Human Resources Coordinator. To be honest, I had never had a human resources person reporting to me before, nor did I have any idea, really, what the position was. I had an idea of what I wanted it to be in the future, and I thought Jackie would be the best fit for that based on our interview. Turns out that was at least one time I was right. Jackie did an excellent job of taking the job, and running with it. She was able to mold the position into what we both thought would be the best fit for the University Store and Text Rental. I continue to be very impressed with Jackie and her abilities.
Although I'm sad to see her go, I'm glad that she is moving on into the "real" world and hope that she learned a lot while working with us.

Thanks Stephanie! It has been a great experience working with everyone at US/TR. This experience has been incredible and one I will remember always! I am sad to go but excited to experience the "real" world and all it has to offer. Thanks for everything US/TR!
